All the alterations for Dutch Boy Cleaners go to the seamstress in the Thousand Oaks location. I’ve had two brand new jeans ruined by her and dress pants done sloppily.
The jeans hem was too short, uneven and stitched sloppily. She attached the original hem to the pants which I didn’t ask for so the pants hung weird and it flipped outward, kind of like bell-bottoms. After I went in to complain, she attempted to “fix it”. It turned out still lopsided with the outside seam SHORTER than the inseam in one leg, the hem still “swooping” in the front and back.
Seamstress refused to acknowledge that there was anything wrong with the jeans, then later blamed the unevenness to the jeans itself. She was full of attitude from the first time I went into complain and refused to acknowledge her sloppy work.
They refused to compensate for the means they ruined (it looks retarded now) and only refunded me the alteration fee.
Avoid them if you don’t want to have your precious investment ruined!
