i”m just wondering, because there are really high property taxes in texas, and you’d use more energy (AC during the summer) it seems like.

It depends on your income. TX has no income tax, CA does. CA has much lower property tax, but the houses cost a LOT more in San Diego then San Antonio.
I would think TX would be cheaper….but the problem is you have to live in Texas.
It is MUCH nicer to live in San Diego.
